Ethereal World

The project is for an exhibition entitled "Ethereal World". This digital artworks are a mixture of photography, graphic elements and hand-drawn ink marks, acrylic or watercolour stains. The human being melts with nature and its four elements of fire, air, water and earth. Piles of tree branches, clouds forming hair, faces that melt with air and sky, human silhouettes that arise from expanses of earth and roots. This is the Surrealist world of Emi Haze, hanging in balance between reality and fantasy, dream and utopia, and in which colour and sensitivity have the predominant role.

2015 Creative Cloud Release: Kumano Kodo

Adobe asked Takehiro to create a piece of work inspired by the Kumano-Kodo Trail in Japan. Adobe Creative Cloud Release was traveling to some of the world's hidden locations and artists creating an artwork in the location. He captured inspiring elements from the temple, the forests, waterfalls, food and even the smell, and blended these elements using Adobe Creative Cloud. The result was a 2.7 x 2.7m light box which was exhibited on the trail.

Matchsticks Forest

The concept behind these posters that one tree makes a million matchsticks, one matchstick burns a million trees. Worthless left over matchsticks are the main afflatus in this work. An out of context visuals made of an unexpected substances. Each entity of a matchstick stands out as a distinct character, it resembles the shape of a living creature, which evokes simultaneously the essence fact that these matchsticks were originally part of a living being (Tree).

Johnnie Walker

・This pamphlet was created to be used by sales representatives from the out-of-store sales division at upscale department stores. It is a sales tool that explains the Johnnie Walker brand and the appeal of available products. We chose the leaflet/cards format because it allows the sales rep to only show the most appealing product to each customer.

My dear toilet

By observing people's lives, social perspectives and personal values, photographer found that people’s subjective consciousness often influence their judgment. Therefore, they would like to subvert viewpoints with the work, in order to present the different side of it. Just like this artwork, the photographer created a new scene and new meaning is given to the toilet seat. By doing so, the photographer wants to convey the idea that external value of an entity doesn't mean everything.

BaoWow!

Inspired by the traditional bamboo steamer, we have created a circular box with a contemporary touch – upon lifting the lid of the box, an array of 12 customized crystal magnets capture one’s attention as they sit in a circular fashion on the top tier, with a die-cut in the center revealing the title of the notebook beneath. Matching infographics provides detailed introduction and pronunciation of each of the 12 “Bao” (which means “Buns” in Mandarin) in the notebook enclosed, whereas dotted pages encourage self-documentation.
