PWPW 2016 calendar

Designers from Studio Design were faced with the challenge of presenting on 12 calendar pages the unique production of Polish Security Printing Works (PWPW). PWPW products: security papers, postal stamps, passports, identity cards, banknotes were presented using a wide variety of different papers, including papers with a watermark and refinements: Hot foil stamping, die cutting, blind embossing, lamination, perforation, spot varnish and printing methods: offset, silk screen printing, CMYK, Pantone. The calendar is a great visiting card of PWPW and confirms the professionalism of Studio Design.

Folk Fusion

'Folk Fusion' demonstrates a variety of regional Russian art styles infused into the Mexican culture, through ornately designed Dia de los Muertos skulls in a series of six posters. The Russian folk styles presented, and described, are the Gorodets, Gzhel, North-Dvina, Zhostovo, Mezen and Khokhloma.

Wanlin Art Museum

As Wanlin Art Museum was located in the campus of Wuhan University, our creativity needed to reflect the following characteristics: A central meeting point for students to honor and appreciate art, while featuring aspects of a typical art gallery. It also had to come across as ‘humanistic’. As college students stand at the starting line of their lives, this art museum acts as an opening chapter for the students art appreciation, and art will accompany them a lifetime.

Posterrific Adventure of Anna Warrick

This is an experimental storybook about Anna Warrick’s adventure inside the World of Poster. The script and story on each page are integrated with illustrations into various posters. Over the course of the story, Anna jumps through different posters that touch the worlds of movies, travel and fashion among others, until she finds the poster where she belongs. The book is printed in hard cover and consists of 16 different posters. This English-Japanese bilingual book is self-published and will be launched in Fall 2015 (Northern Hemisphere).

Ryft

The Ryft brand and visual language is conceptual interpretation of how the company’s cutting-edge big data processing solutions allow businesses to harness actionable intelligence from complex data. In an industry defined by bright colors and slick iconography, the brand’s striking black and white photo-realistic style and bold tone reflect the innovation behind their technology and position the brand as the gateway to new levels of processing performance. The centerpiece of the RYFT brand, the horse image captures attention and creates a lasting impression in any medium.

Nissan Fuga

The brochure is elaborate and has a quality feeling, intended to remind customers of the excellent technology embedded in the product. It aims to trigger emotional responses from those who see the brochure by appealing to a sense of quiet passion, as well. New perspectives of hybrid technology from the Nissan and Infinity brands are depicted in the brochure.
