This is an illustration created for a Chinese-owned coffee brand. The work combines Chinese and Western cultures, replacing characters in ordinary advertisements with characters in Peking Opera. The works are full of details, and people can find details about coffee in the illustrations and become interested in traditional Chinese culture.
Continue readingThe design concepts conveyed by this collage are balance and harmony. Each of the hands around the woman reinforces the presence of the others, and the design falls apart if any of the hands are missing or placed out of balance. The woman and the multiple hands around her were conceived as an integrated design. Because each source material differs in size, brightness, and color from the others, each hand was manipulated individually to create a sense of coherence. This work gives form to a design hierarchy based on equality, as its title suggests.
Continue readingThe two illustrations attempt to combine multiple styles such as New Chinese style and Pop. The project has too many elements and designers hope to put these elements in a reasonable and harmonious way within the same visual system. The other design style is bolder with more vivid color contrast on top of ensuring the completeness of the picture bringing greater visual impact to people. Designers made many attempts to visualize and reshape the two classic mythological stories of Qi Tian Da Sheng and Nezha Naohai and integrate them together.

Thoughts are not only reflected in the brain but also on the surface. Floating life can be experienced by everyone, and each emotion may appear more or less in everyone's life. In addition to the illustration in the poster, designer also gave a detailed explanation of each emotion in order to better feel the details in the work.

Each abstract object represents a scene or a moment in changing seasons in Japan, but regardless of age or nationality, inspire people free imagination. It is worthy for observation as a paper sculpture, perceive a sharp outline attractively at back light. In every moment, the casted shadow forms various shape different from the paper itself according to the light come in, add a little entertainment in everyday scene respectively.
Continue readingThese artworks are part of the collection Neglect, photographed specimens of animals, most of which are extinct or critically endangered. The photographer wants to show a little bit of the sometimes bizarre beauty of the insects, so that the viewer might see them with different eyes. Because insect extinction is very real and not a made-up story. The series was produced with help and assistance of the Senckenberg German Entomological Institute.
