Kisarazu

Kousaku says in the beginning, the air was so tense that it was almost like a battlefield. Eventually, that battlefield changed to everyday life, and he was gradually released from the tension. Then, He went out to the vegetation, alleyways and marches to his heart's content. Strangely, no matter were he went, there was unique atmosphere, and he felt signs of people and the kindness of the fishermen at the harbor. He had a nostalgic feeling as if it were the original scenery of his boyhood.

Sharaku

Work exhibited at the Tokyo Design Week specialty category "Inspire Exhibition". The theme was Sharaku. There is no setting of an era or a period there are experimental challenges and it includes the impact for the art direction. Sharaku has boldly exaggerated the faces and bodies of the Kabuki actors. This type of technique has been an unique one at that time and as well a progressed idea in the scene. Therefore I wanted to show the Sharaku’s view of the world in my own way of boldness and expressed myself freely.

Bengal Classical

The 5th edition of South Asia's largest classical music event "Bengal Classical Music Festival" took place in November 2016, and it came with a beautiful set of visuals. The communication design for the event was based on a study on different RAAGAs based on different times and the color pallette were derived from this concept. The key visual expresses a wave of energy flowing around the artist and towards the listeners. The expression is simple yet strong.

Design Hotel Navis

Hotel Navis is a 5 star design hotel, situated in Opatija, Croatia. The hotel has 44 rooms and each of them has the sea view - just as if you were on a ship, somewhere out in the open sea. Speaking of ships, the word Navis stands for ship in latin , and since the owner of the hotel is Mr. Krunoslav Kapetanovic (Kapetanovic is a derivative of the word captain in Croatian) the direction of the branding and design was immediately set. Geographically, the hotel is situated at the Northest point where adriatic sea penetrates the coast in Croatia. N - North - Navis

Sharaku is a popular illustrator with many mysteries. The mystery is interpreted freely and expressed. Making footpack socks, making picture frames like the Kabuki mirror stand, styling and make-up, Sharaku may have been a woman. Under such a concept, expressions like fashion stories are characterized. It is finished in an experimental and impacting concept.
