Math Alive

Dynamic graphic motifs enrich the learning effect of math in the blended learning environment. Parabolic graphs from mathematics inspired the logo design. Letter A and V are connected with a continuous line, demonstrating the interaction between an educator and a student. It conveys the message that Math Alive guides users to become whiz kids in math. The key visuals represent the transformation of abstract math concepts into three-dimensional graphics. The challenge was to balance the fun and engaging setting for the target audience with professionalism as an educational technology brand.

Primary Residence

Primary Residence is an alphabet design that represents abstract architectural forms in typography with three primary colors: red, blue, and yellow. The inspiration originally came from the Bauhaus movement. That was also inspired by the design of stairs and windows from different parts of the world. Each letter and number represents a small part of the buildings without any apparent entry or existence. The stairs, windows, and geometric shapes are dedicated to the Bauhaus architectural style and minimalism, with the primary goal of blending the form and identities of the structure together.

Miniature Size Landscape

Landscape with grasses, mosses, flowers and other plants that looks a small world are spread at their feet. Photographer Katsuhiro Ohkuchi takes photography to make it look like a big world by using trick of the eye. An 1 inch tall dwarf goes on a journey around the small world. A dwarf eyes are the imaginary world of their childhood. It makes reminds them of their childhood.

Flying in Dreams

People always dream. Dreams make a human move forward. Where they will lead depends on imagination and the efforts he or she encloses. In childhood, these dreams are usually purer and brighter. That is why the photographer uses children's characters in white outfits. To create a surreal effect in the "Flying in Dreams" series, Maxim Zinchuk utilizes the levitation photography technique. The main idea of the series is perfectly complemented by the words of William Shakespeare: "all things that are, are with more spirit chased than enjoyed".

IKARUS

These are photographed specimens of birds, most of whose species are extinct. The photographer Florian W. Mueller was inspired by the legend of Icarus: His father Daedalus built wings of feathers and wax for himself and his son to escape from the captivity of Minos on Crete. The son Icarus became overconfident, the wax melted and he fell into the sea. Despite his father's warnings. The parallels: Despite warnings and admonitions, the world spirals into ever higher and warmer and warmer climes, and the crash is not far away.
